BLUE BUNNY PARLOR AND MUSEUM RELOCATION CONTINUES

LEMARS—WELL’S DAIRY IS MOVING FORWARD WITH FULL CONSTRUCTION ON THE NEW DOWNTOWN LEMARS LOCATION FOR THE BLUE BUNNY ICE CREAM PARLOR AND MUSEUM.

A GRAND OPENING IS PLANNED FOR ICE CREAM DAYS NEXT JUNE.

ONE WALL COLLAPSED DURING REMODELING OF THE HISTORIC GEORGE E. PEW COMPANY BUILDING IN JULY.

WELL’S DAIRY SPOKESMAN DAVE SMETTER SAYS CONTRACTORS HOPE TO BEGIN WORK IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS.

HE SAYS THE DESIGN IS NOT CHANGING.

THE GRAND OPENING WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF ICE CREAM DAYS.

THIS YEAR IS THE 10TH YEAR OF THE ICE CREAM PARLOR AND MUSEUM AT THE HIGHWAY 75 LOCATION.

PRIOR TO THE WALL COLLAPSE, THE RELOCATION TO DOWNTOWN LEMARS WAS EXPECTED IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF NEXT YEAR.
