I-JOBS FUNDING REQUESTED FOR NEW FIRE HOUSE

SIOUX CITY—SIOUX CITY FIRE RESCUE WILL BE AT MONDAY’S COUNCIL MEETING TO REQUEST ANOTHER RUN AT THE STATE’S I-JOBS FUNDS. ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF JIM CLARK SAYS THE ADDITIONAL FUNDING WILL HELP TO DEFRAY THE COSTS OF THE NEW FIRE STATION NUMBER 4.

TOTAL COST FOR THE NEW FIRE STATION IS ABOUT 3 MILLION DOLLARS; THE CITY HOPE TO GET ABOUT $1.8 MILLION IN TOTAL I-JOBS PROGRAM FUNDING.
