A Columbus man who has been convicted four times of drunken driving has been arrested in Stanton County on suspicion of driving drunk. SIOUX CITY—MANY FOLKS TRAVELING THROUGH SIOUXLAND TUESDAY WERE INVOLVED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS DUE TO THE ICE, SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW CONDITIONS.
SIOUX CITY POLICE LIEUTENANT MARTI REILLEY SAYS THEIR OFFICERS HAVE RESPONDED TO NEARLY 40 ACCIDENTS SO FAR.

CROFTON, Neb.—A South Dakota man died in a one-vehicle accident in northern Nebraska. The Nebraska State Patrol said 34-year-old Arlan Lammers of Yankton missed a curve on Highway 121 near Crofton and rolled his car around 3:30 Sunday morning. He was dead at the scene.
