SIOUX CITY—LOCAL FIRE INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY HAVE DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF FIRE THAT CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO A LOCAL HOME.

SIOUX CITY—THERE HAVE BEEN TWO FIRES IN TWO WEEKS IN HISTORICAL BUILDINGS IN SIOUX CITY AND AUTHORITIES NOW BELIEVE THE TWO MAY BE CONNECTED.
A FIRE SATURDAY DAMAGED A BUILDING THAT ONCE HOUSED THE FLORENCE CRITTENTON HOME AND THE PREVIOUS FIRE ON JUNE 14TH DAMAGED A FORMER BEKINS BUILDING ALONG COURT STREET.

SIOUX CITY—THE WEEKEND FIRE AT THE OLD BEKINS WAREHOUSE BUILDING IN SIOUX CITY IS NOW CONSIDERED SUSPICIOUS.

DENISON, Iowa—Fire has damaged a building at a pallet company in Denison in western Iowa.
The fire at Krajicek Pallet Inc. broke out late Saturday. Dozens of firefighters from eight departments were called. No injuries were reported. Fire Chief Mike McKinnon says there were several small explosions, and the roof of the 30,000 square-foot building
